In times of economic slowdown, Malaysian Oil Refinery Sdn. Bhd. has secured major investments to help boost the local economy with a proposed 300,000 bpd export refinery facility in Malaysia.
This project presents a major opportunity to re-introduce Malaysia to the international playing field. The planned facility also raises hope to revive past projects that will ultimately secure a much-needed economic boost to the nation’s oil and gas sector.
MOR's proposed refinery facility will be built to focus on refining imported heavy crude oil from Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe for a range of product-mix, mainly for export to our Asian neighbours. The early successes of this project played a major role in paving our way into the Petrochemical sectors.
